The OiiNOW - Online Insurance Inventory system includes an interactive help system, anywhere that you see additional help - click here just click and the appropriate help will be displayed.

Q. How do I add items to my inventory?
A.

Simply

  • Click add to your inventory
  • Select the room from the drop down list
  • Type the name or description of the item
  • Type in the insurance value of the item
  • You can choose to add additional information in the 'Item information' box
  • You can also add an image such as a photo of the item, or a scan of a receipt by clicking the Browse button to the right of the Item image and choose an image from your pc
  • Click save item
    Only files with .GIF, .JPG or .BMP file xtensions (last letter of the filename) can be uploaded. Any other filetype or filename will not be uploaded

  • Replace the details you wish to be overwritten with the new details you wish to be stored for retrieval in the future
  • Press submit at the bottom of the page

  • Type in your e-mail address
  • Click submit
  • If your details are matched an e-mail will be sent to you containing your username and password

Q. Why can't I add photo's to my inventory?
A.
  • You need to have a FULL OiiNOW membership to add photos to your inventory.
  • If your FULL OiiNOW membership has expired you will not be able to use FULL OiiNOW facilities
Q. How do I add extra rooms to my inventory?

  • click add to your inventory
  • from the room name menu select OTHER
  • below room name will appear a new box with New room next to it
  • just type in the name for this room in this box
  • this room name will remain available in your list of rooms throughout

You can establish if you are under insured or over insured by letting us know how much cover is provided by your existing policies. You can also retrieve your policy information whenever you need it, for example if you need to make a claim.

Q. What does over insured / under insured mean?
A.
  • Over insured means that you have more insurance cover than the combined value of your goods. You should always consult an insurance advisor before reducing your sum insured
  • Under insured means that your policy does not cover the total value of the goods you own, and may therefore be insufficient for your needs. Ultimately, your policy may not cover all of your possessions in the event of a claim.
  • Bear in mind that the insurance value of your goods may be different from the purchase value of your goods
  • If you have any questions about the level of your insurance cover and your requirements. You should talk to your insurance company or advisor.

  • No, one of the virtues of the OiiNOW system is that even if your computer is stolen, you can retrieve all of the details of your Online Insurance Inventory
  • We store your inventory information so in the event of disaster this information can be retrieved and utilised to ensure that your insurance claim is handled as efficiently as possible

  • This allows Full OiiNOW Subscribers members to store images relating to items being stored on your online inventory
  • This can be a photo of your item, a scanned image from a brochure, a scan of the receipt for your item, or other useful photographic evidence of your item or its value.

  • No, the chances of people discovering the images you upload to our servers are more than 1 in 25 Billion
